Grassroots Organizer

Engages communities, mobilizes support, and empowers people to create positive social change. There are infinite paths to this occupation. Here are a couple of ways:
 
   College Path:

•   Degree in Political Science or Social Work.
•   Intern with political campaigns or nonprofits.
•   Develop community organizing skills.
• Entry-level roles: Campaign Field Organizer, Community Outreach Coordinator.

 
   Alternative Path:

• Volunteer with local organizations.
• Attend community organizing workshops.
• Start as a volunteer coordinator.
• Entry-level roles: Volunteer Coordinator, Grassroots Advocate.
